Mine was doing the same thing. I think it's attached with glue. It might be something to do with hotter climates (I live in Arizona) and the poor gluing process as to the reason behind it coming loose.
 
Just looked at mine and I am not sure if it is pressed into a channel or if it is glued in, I did not want to pull it out. I would try to press/fit it back in. If it does not stay, 3M makes a black Weatherstrip adhesive that would work great on that. Make sure both surfaces are clean and oil free and be careful with it, it is very "gooey", you could make a mess. Mechanics here call the yellow version of this stuff "gorilla snot". Done correctly, this would be a permanent fix.
