Tank Seal

At the bottom of the tank door my seal is coming off? How is it attached? With fit or glue?

I don't know how Honda attaches the seal, but if I were in your position, I think I'd have the dealer fix it under warranty.

What do you mean? Photo please? If this is bad, then warranty....please take a photo and show us.

Mine was doing the same thing. I think it's attached with glue. It might be something to do with hotter climates (I live in Arizona) and the poor gluing process as to the reason behind it coming loose.

Here is the pic. I put a piece of white paper behind so you could see. It is at the bottom of the lid.

Just looked at mine and I am not sure if it is pressed into a channel or if it is glued in, I did not want to pull it out. I would try to press/fit it back in. If it does not stay, 3M makes a black Weatherstrip adhesive that would work great on that. Make sure both surfaces are clean and oil free and be careful with it, it is very "gooey", you could make a mess. Mechanics here call the yellow version of this stuff "gorilla snot". Done correctly, this would be a permanent fix.
