CO2 inflation

I'm sure some of you guys have inflated a flat using Slime and a CO2 cartridge. What's that like? How many cartridges do you need in order to make it home. Assuming you can fix the problem with a plug or its a tiny puncture.

I recently asked the same question. The reply was a co2 cartridge won't fill it all the way up. You'll need to use a pump to finish inflating the tire.

Edit: Using 3 cartridges will get the tire half full.

Squirrelling away 6 of them in/on the bike anywhere I can find hidy holes for, works out just fine.

This would only be if my main air source, a Slime mini pump failed for some reason, though. I am extremely happy with the little Slime pump.
