Picture Size

I tried to upload some pictures tonight. They have a good bit of detail, but that detail is lost in the upload. I'm guessing the forum software is putting some sort of compression on them. Does anyone know what the album picture size limit is? At what point does the forum software take over and run it's own compression algorithm?

I would send Admin a quick PM on that one.

I use a photo hosting website, bypassing most of the forum restrictions and issues, but the forum still can limit the overall size.

no issues for me. What details are you trying to show?
